Ellwood Steak and Fish House is a unique local restaurant with an upscale feel. We are locally owned and operated and we are excited to be a part of an exciting new future in DeKalb, Illinois. Our promise to you is to deliver exquisite food, drinks, and incomparable service. The 1879 Lounge is nestled inside with its own separate entrance. Very yum! Great place for special occasions. I went on a date night and had a fantastic time. We shared plates and enjoyed everything - drinks, food, and service. Had the octopus which was on special and was very good. Highly recommend the lamb, it's exquisite.

If you are looking for a little more upscale in Sycamore, this is a great place. Our favorite place to celebrate special occasions or meet with friends. There can be live music, but I've never been there when it was happening. Otherwise, it's an easy place to talk.
